just read it in the sun our players were not payed yhis week on tuesday. the club told them it will be in there acounts within 48hrs no mention if this as happened as today is friday but the receptionist has been layed off

I have read all these comments about how Ted would give his shares away if the right person came along. Anyone who believes that probably starts their day with the words 'Once upon a time'. The fact is although he and his BoD have kept us a float and in the league they are also the causes of our downfall. No proper business man would plough money into something and then get rid of it for nothing, especially one who is in an IVA.

It's not usual, and it is difficult, but there are things being done to secure the future of the club. The issue which interrupted the payments is resolved and normal trading has returned, but you are right - the 22nd October is absolute key to everything going forward and I hope that would put any personal issues to one side and join us by the Town Hall on that day to support the future of professional sport in Wakefield.

Is that enough Wildcats blah, blah for you?

Not that it would matter with The Sun, but losing John Huxley will be a blow in terms on dealing with the aftermath of stories like this.
