Stanley Ranger 12s, now U13s receive their Div 2 trophy/medals tonight at the club house

next sunday they open up in a friendly against Cas Lock Lane nice to be back

it soon comes round again snowie.

we cas panthers now u11s have been back training for the past two weeks with a new coaching team, despite having lost 3 good players to our neighbours from over the water things are pulling together nicely and the kids are much happier in themselves.

yes it does and we are going to be short of players too, we have 5 away on hols 1 has packed it in for football so we going into the friendly with 13 players and one is carrying a knee injury,
never mind it will probably rain as well

when are the new fixtures out rob? think it will be a tough start for our lads at Stanley

Stanley Rangers U13 38 v 8 Castleford Lock lane U 13 ,

the score doesn't reflect the cracking game it was, the cas side that was in div 3 now div 2 put in a valiant game in the forwards, with us playing with the advantage of the slope we managed to get our heads well in front but they showed that they wasn't going to give in the second half and managed to get twice in the corner,
the wind did play a part in making it hard for the lads but it was great to get the first game under our belts with even 5 of our backs missing

as for the Lock lane side I can predict that they will do well this season from what I have seen they could do with some bigger backs

Any ideas on the under 11 fixtures anyone ? I've heard that Stanley are away at stanningley and eastmoor are playing shaw cross . Would like to know what they've done with us ( crigg) this year - hope to god we're still in the top group , it didn't do us any favours last year by dropping us down before Xmas . Looks like we've got some good numbers this year too - 18 at the moment !
