| That was my last game for the season and only because I had a season ticket to use up.
A bloody shocking season, an absolute disaster. Started with a team that looked like challenging the top 4 then ended up as a team that wouldn't be a challenge for the bottom 4. People were quick to defend Crusaders when I said we were a laughing stock after getting beat at home by them, probably the worst team to come to Belle Vue all season. How many are still laughing and how many are still saying ''we're in a slump, we'll recover''? Absolute idiots who know bugger all. The writing was on the wall then and it's still on the wall now and it's not faded, just been written over in double thickness marker pen just to clarify the point.
Kear needs to go! I've been pro Kear all season but clearly the coaching isn't working. Watching Atkins for the last few games has shown why. He didn't make a pass in all the time he was at Wakefield and now he's throwing the ball around like a Harlem Globetrotter. That's all down to the coaching at Warrington. Broadbent should also be hot on his heels, so too should 50% of the team. Before something new can be created, first everything must be destroyed. Ted Richardson also needs to find the exit in favour of someone who is willing to spend money on the club for the good of the club, team and fans, not his own pocket. Fair play to Ted, he's kept us going at his own expense in the past but I get the feeling there was always something in it for him.
Today's game was game over after Leo Latu dropped the ball over the line in the first few minutes. Should have been 4-0 up, instead 0-4 down. Story of our season. He'd done the hardest bit and caught the ball but couldn't put it down when under minimal pressure over the line. One of his 'get rid of him' games.
We'll go to Bradford next week and get hammered after being the last team they beat this season about 12 games ago! I don't want to be walking out that slum thinking ''their ground is way worse than ours'' having been beaten by their shower of useless $hit and getting heckled by their ''Bull Power'' glory boys who think Bradford Northern is an electoral district. Same applies to Salford; we'll get beat by a more enthusiastic team and have an hours drive across the M62 thinking what could have been and having that thought stick in my mind until next February is not one that appeals to me.
Until next season folks, I'll see you down Post Office Road.....

I'm fed up of that happening watching Wakefield this last half of the season.
Traveling and paying in to Bradford and Salford at Super League prices isn't going to be cheap and to expect to pay it to watch what's been put out on the field this past half of the season is quite frankly a pi$$ take.

I wont be at the Bulls game next week as I will be watching Yorks cc weather permiting and will be working for the Salford game, so yesterday was my last game this season as well. So for different reasons it was the last game for both of us, having said that I can fully sympathise with most of what you say and if the circumstances had not been different I doubt if I would have gone as well, so KSC hopefully we will see each other next season

| That's me done, attendance wise, for this season I think. Bradford is definitely out as I've now made other plans. The only thing that would make me change my mind about going to Salford would be if Kear stacked the team with young lads.

| Never felt so downbeat at the tail end of a season. Poor form, no signings of note for next season, no clarity yet on stadium, Cas making more progress (seemingly) and shouting it from the rooftops, Salford obviously building up for next franchise. Is this the end of SL life for the foreseeable future - cos if we dont get a licence this time, we are not going to get back in again imo.
PS - yes I have done my bit and signed up for next years season ticket.

| I'll be back in Wakey for the Salford game.
Common sense tells me to keep me brass in me pocket and spend the afternoon in the garden with the kids.
That option has been overruled, however. How much is it on the WISCA bus... or... any chance of a lift?

| Since the Brough/Tronc/Newton surgery ripped the guts out of our team this season has been like one of those nightmares where you keep thinking you're going to wake up any minute, but the nightmare just keeps hold of you and won't let you wake up. HOWEVER - in a few weeks we'll get some good news about the Stadium, new signings (I've heard there's a bloke known as JD who could do a job for us) and we'll all trot off and buy our season tickets for next year, 'cos next season is the one where we might just turn the corner (again!) - and because we're fans, and because this is OUR team THATS WHAT WE DO!!!!

Spend the money on the kids fella, at least they care about you and your afternoon. The players and coaching staff going to the Willows isn't Wakefield Trinity.
Our day will come again though.
