| As the title suggests next year is our last at Belle Vue
How Do I know this?
Well... James Elston announced this at the family fun day earlier today.
So shall I start a favourite memories thread?
Why Not...
So please, share you favorite moments from Belle Vue, was it climbing over that brick wall in the 70's? Was it your first game? Million quid match...

| Opening of Wakefield Floodlights - Yorkshire v Australia. Neil Fox played a blinder. Just short of 20000 there. Forgotten the year though.

| 98 season; Garren Casey leading the chant for Wakefield.
I know who and what I am,
I'm a Wakefield Trinity man.
We play hard and we play fast,
aint no way we're coming last.
So when you hear the Wakie cheer,
and when you see the Wakie score,
you'll hear the Wakefield Trinity ROAR.
T-R-I-N-I-T-Y
The one match that sticks in my mind was beating HKR in the playoff semi.

| Remember that day well sandal. Can you also remember the bins being thrown at our players for daring to beat hull kr that day? Us and kr were the two top teams in the league and they beat us twice but we won the one that mattered and it seemed to knock the stuffing out of them. Credit to them they got it back on track and look where they are today.
Many fond memories of belle vue but one that sticks in the mind doesn't even involve wakey. It was an amateur final and a streaker ran across the pitch jumped the wall, clipped it and landed flat on his face. The crowd (prob bigger than crus yesterday!) oohed and gasped in unison

Think Josh Bostock played his part in that, him and a few others "maybe" goaded KR fans a bit much

| Swapping ends at half time and walking through that tunnel under the old west stand that had a bar in it.
Saving my pocket money to spend at our only retail outlet which also doubled up as supporters club and away coach booking hut and you could get refreshments. (now the food outlet north west corner)
playing Australia in 1990 night match ground packed we gave them a good game and a good fight I sat in the east stand that night and there was a mad Austrialian who must have been on Westgate all day and kept standing on the wall in front of the East stand.
Always beating Leeds at Belle Vue late 80s early 90s (Andy Wilsons sack)
Andy Masons pre match warm up.
Match abandoned due to fog against Widnes when they were hammering us, and beating them in the replay.
Playing Halifax in SL and a fitness class from the oasis gym somehow came on the tannoy system.
The survival Saturday match v cas, bricking it all week and the relief and celebrations afterwards.
Only been watching Trinity since the mid 80's so missed our 60's heyday. Some good memorys but can't wait to move and let this club move forward.

| Keith Smith kicking one off the touchline in the last few seconds to get us a 10-10 draw against Salford in the late 70's.
The thrill of seeing Wally Lewis in a Wakefiueld Trinity shirt
Neil Fox knocking the tacklers off on the way to the line.
Toppo 'ghosting' in from 25-30 yards.
Bill Ashurst playing for Wakefield (knees permitting). The bloke was a wizard with the ball in is hands. and a right dirty barsteward as well.
The dark days of the mid eighties
The old scoreboard operator falling off the end of the platform on the scoreboard.
Outside of family life I have experienced some great highs and some despondent lows at Belle Vue .It might be a $h1thole but it's our $h1thole and I'll miss it.

Remember it well. The Company I worked for had sponsored the match as my boss was from Widnes. We were getting well beat when the fog came in but won the rearranged game.

| The Million pound match.
Robin Whitfield (Robbing Wakefield )
21 nil up against Warrington at HT
Boxing day games (my first ever game was Cas at home on Boxing day)
Nigel Wright getting sent off on his return to BV
So many memories, I shall shed a tear at the last game.
Its old, and crappy but its been my second home for 30+ years.
