I hope Wakefield don't lose their licence.

I think it could come down to if you and Cas are willing to ground-share and bite the bullett.

Very worrying times for Wakefield and Cas. I cannot realistically see any other team being brought into the fold at this stage.

I get the feeling that we've already been told that we're for the chop. The club are acting like a sinking ship with the teams abject performances and lack of any leadership at the top level.

It would seem that it's a straight shoot-out between us and Cas the winner staying in superleague and also getting a stadium in the process.

What will be will be, no point stressing over it now. As long as the stadium gains approval and there is real progress on construction by the time the license applications are submitted (or there is a suitable Plan B in the event of a delay) then Trinity have a fairly strong case for a renewed license.

Why single out Cas and Wakie?

Wakefield have said they will not groundshare with us.

The Cas and Wakefield boards are playing Russian Roulette at the moment. They know that one will get a license and a stadium the other I dread to think.

We didn't say we wouldn't share as such. Just that GH wasn't a viable option for us. Castleford are more than welcome to share at NM as are Featherstone. However, i'd imagine your situation will be similar to that of Wakefield. It just isn't financially viable

The stadium is still further down the track and the positioning of it so close to the BBC's new facility I do not think the RFL would have them demoted.

Is 'proximity to a national broadcaster' a new criterion for the 2012-15 license period?

Drop a current Super League team, let one of the above teams into the league who will sign all their half decent departing players and will take 2 seasons to be anywhere near the level it takes to compete.

That will really freshen up the league and improve the competition no end.
