Fantastic day an all but.... what the heck is wrong with the clock, it was jumping all over the place especially at the end of the first half. I hope the players don't look at it.

Apparently DB was telling the referee that time was up on the clock @ half time and the game went on for another 30/40 secs. Leeds were pressing at the time so there could have been hell to play if they had scored. For both sides.
Obviously something is not working with the clock and unless it can be guarenteed to function properly it should not be used.

Am I right in thinking that the 'official' clock is still held by the timekeepers in the stand, and this 'unofficial' clock is a distraction for all, or is it supposed to keep the official time?

I believe this is now the official clock operated by an independent timekeeper. Clubs can appoint 'observers' but they have no powers.

There was a lack of a count down in the first half on Sunday and when I walked past at halftime the clock had stuck on 39:53. There was bound to be a few teething troubles but if it’s not accurate then it’s more of a hindrance then anything else.

After the electrical fault in week 1 the system was checked by an electrician who reported that the system was working fine and therefore the fault lay with a piece of equipment being used in the press box - which uses the same supply.

This week was an error by the official, pointed out by our own 'advisor', hence the first half ended correctly, not as per the time shown on the clock.

It would seem wrong to have an 'official' clock unless you can be sure that the time it displays is correct - this could cost someone a match if we're not careful!

BBC Radio Leeds commentator lost the power going into his equipment during the match and said all the power went in the stand and that the clock went as well.

Don't you think it would have been a good idea to stick it somewhere where the vast majority of the crowd could actually see it! - Back of the posts maybe!

I said that last week.It should have gone on the sky tower at the Doncaster road end.

We've now got a clock and a scoreboard, that a large number of people can't see!!!! Only at trin!!!!!!!

They manage to supply power to the sky camera that's positioned there.
