What do we think about this article from our idle, fat 'friend' at Huddersfield?'"
What the thread title said!

| It’s pretty much the same article that was in the press when he signed for Huddersfield. Must be a standard press release Sculthorpe makes every time he moves on. If he’s still playing in 2 years we will no doubt see the same words about the next coach he signs for.

| No mention of any gratitude to giving him a S.L lifeline after his team were relegated, and his shoulder was bust up?
There’s nothing unorthodox about constantly niggling at the play the ball, I can’t see the Bradford fans relishing him giving away too many penalties.
I hope his new buddy Steve lets him play his own game, shirking the work and playing like a oversized halfback.

| I really hope our forward pack nail him! Talk about sour grapes! The guy can't keep his mouth shut!
£1800 fine, i bet it was £500 like the other boys fines and the rest in "monies overdue" for pies that he stole from the clubhouse during his three year tenure!

| I think the part about him not playing this weekend because of a bad back says it all.

| It says a lot about Danny Sculthorpe as a person, he must be a real dumbass to put up with such an awful way life for three years. Imagine the shock to the system a professional rugby league player having to follow a regimented style regime at the club when training and on matchdays. I was never a fan of his and was chuffed when he left. One other thing if life was so terrible at Belle Vue why was he trying to get his brother to join him?

| The only person that article makes look bad is Sculthorpe. I don't mind him moving and didn't think him a bad player but that's just pathetic. If I were a Bulls fan I'd be really worried, what a absolute childish berk.

| I seem to remember that he was fined 1 week's wages.........
I'd be terribly unhappy being paid £93,600 pa for doing something I enjoyed
No great loss to us.

| This thread will test the swear filter!
Training methods wrong. Wakefield finish higher than everyone expected. Do the sums.

| Shame really, as he can be a quality player and did perform well at times for us. I'd like to think though that a professional sportsman who felt he wasn't quite getting the role he deserved would apporach it by redoubling his efforts and showing his coach what he could do, rather than breaking an agreed code of conduct clearly designed to benefit players, then throwing his teddy out of the pram when he is reprimanded over it. If he feels hard done by, he ought to get a proper job, from which he'd be dismissed out of hand for any similar breach of rules.
