I hear from a decent source that we've done a deal for Tony Martin.

I think he would improve us in the centres but wondered what you lot think of him.

Good defender, can also play stand-off, decent goal kicker as well, you could have done a lot worse.

He is a great asset to a team.

He is a good leader, an excellent decision maker....if he's in the centre your winger will score, he isn't going to scorch the length of the field but he is far from slow, he will help the young players develop

Think you've got a great player. Touch of class whenever he was fit and available and I really hope he can have a good injury free time with you as his time with us was regularly interrupted. Agree that our best football was with him at 6 in 2009.

You've also got a good club man who will benefit your development efforts in the area. I won a shirt at the end of the season and he rang me up to let me know I'd won! Came across always as a really good genuine bloke.

Classy player, but while the spirit is willing the body now appears to be relatively weak - but still has it all upstairs. If he keeps himself fit then his ability to read the game combined with his experience should far outweigh his lack fo pace.

Nice bloke, good player to have in your team, but very average no pace and that is why our national side is as poor as it is because no disrespect to Martin players of his calibre are playing all over the country at our rugby league clubs.
