Who will we use as our starting hooker.Newton,Obst, or Latu

Newton

Obst and/or Latu off bench.

I like Obst at SO too so Jeffries may be the odd one out sometimes.

Obst is a second rate hooker. He is a halfback makeshift hkr.

For me Newton staring, Latu interchanging.

Latu is 3 x the hkr obst is as expected as it is his natural position.

In an uncontested scrum

Personally think Obst is a far better hooker than half, his best performances in my opinion have come when at 9, he leads Wakefield round the pitch much better and is a greater threat round the ruck.

Always prefer Latu coming off the bench, he is one of the best impact players but when he starts he does not seem as effective

Obst's distribution, passing speed and execution of passes from dummy half comes second to Latu.

Don't get me wrong in no way am i bagging Obst as he is a pretty handy player to have.


Jeffries and Obst to share the SO role for me and perhaps obst to switch to HKR if required.

looking good in HB and HKR for me next year.

i prefer sam/newton at hooker, jeffries at stand off and latu off the bench to cover 9 or 13 .

i think we messed about with peoples positions too much this season and it finally caught up with us in catalan match.

i would rather see players in their specialist positions than all these "utility" players

He got injured again last game because he throws himself into tackles, thats all well and good but he left us with a replacement short.

Obst at 6 Brough at 7 with Newton at 9 and Latu off the bench.

Jeffries a squad player to cover.

That's what i'd go for.

Not a change imho............Jeffries will compliment Brough to a tee!!!!

JK will be able to shuffle things around which will stop us being readable.
