| For me the set up in Wales is far better, more pubs/clubs/food outlets within walking distance and a better atmosphere for the fans to mingle in.
Grounds, well the Mill is far better imo.
Have been all three years but i doubt i'll rush back to Scotland next year, just does not compare with Mill weekend for me.
Wakey fans travelled in large numbers and got behind the team as usual and once again fans from all clubs mingled and behaved as the always do, the stewards i spoke to enjoyed a trouble free day.

| cardiff was better by far and you didnt get ripped off with prices of food or beer outside the grounds also the accomodation was reasonable i found edinburgh dissapointing they promised a village outside the ground we couldnt find it,not even traders selling hats, scarves, flags or badges any where in sight. we will seriously consider not going next year as it was a big letdown. you expect to pay a bit more for beer and food inside the stadium but not on the outside.

| Anyone I have spoke to so far have said they will not be too fussed about going back next year as it's not a patch on Cardiff.
Hope anyone who went though had a good time apart from result.

Thats the point Adam
Its what you make of it & we did & we all meet up & had a few drinks & sold Wrist bands & badges for Adam Watene & then all sat with each other in the stadium & had more drink
And at our end we had Wakey & Wigan fans singing together regardless of our rivalry,So this is just one thing that for all those who didn't go missed out on
Bring on next year love it to be cardiff but thats not going to happen

| The stadium is every bit as good as Cardiff, the atmosphere was good but not quite the same because there was no roof to keep the noise in. What let it down for me was the lack of facilities and the quality. Not sure how the would have coped had the place been full.

| No where near as good as Cardiff. They ran out of lager and then tried charging £3.50 for a bottle. Found it very difficult to find a pub that let kids in. Thought the atmosphere was poor always a bad sign when people resort to mexican waves. Did enjoy the sun yesterday afternoon though and will probably go back next year.

| I enjoyed Edinburgh, thought it was a great place for a visit.
Left my jacket on the bus out from the town and the top tier of the North stand got no sun and was freezing - had to buy a jacket at the Murrayfield shop to keep warm.

| Sorry to be a killjoy but going to Wales or Scotland for a local derby just does not interest me in the slightest, I could not sit through 7 matches where only 1 involved my team.
I totally disagree with the concept and if I am honest the stadium on TV looked empty for all the games not sure myself whether this is a way forward, with London France and Wales as away trips I prefer to go to such ocassions when something is at stake I would imagine the atmosphere at Doncaster last year for the semi was far superior to Murrayfield. Not my cup of tea I am afraid.

Travelled in large numbers... Yes
Got behind the team.... a big no no!!
The atmosphere for the Wakefield game was a bad as a game at Belle Vue! They was no noise from the Wakeyfield fans apart from the small contingent (Well small number of large balding folk) in the back corner! Very disappointing! Why travel all that way, sit through 2 games where you have little interest and not make a sound when the game of great interest comes on apart from the odd polite clap when we score a try?!?!!? Is it becuase everyone was too busy eating there prawn sandwiches?
Anyway... Enough about that...
Was a tad disappointed with Edinbrugh aswell, nowhere to take kids outside www.the MEERCAT.com. Supposed to be a family event but was difficult to get the kids involved in many things, a lot of walking inbetween Stadium and places of interest.... Blah blah, bring back Cardiff!!

They were selling RL merchandise in the Murrayfield shop. The new England ( ) RL shirts, Magic Weekend T-shirts and fortunately Engage Super League jackets.
