Just been reading that Toronto have signed Gigot, on a months trial, on amateur terms.
My understanding of this, is that during this time, he wont be getting paid. Also, amateur players can only play in reserve fixtures.
Do Toronto even have a reserve set up?

So having had clarification from RFL - Tony Gigot can play as a trialist for Toronto for the four weeks he’s there, and he’ll be unpaid. But thereafter, Wolfpack would have to find cap space to sign him to accommodate him. Seems a bit of a grey area but bottom line is he can play

What are you all surprised at ? When Catalan came in they could have all the players they wanted because the RFL, wanted them in just as they do Toronto !!!
Just being sarci, but There is enough coming out of McdDermot verbally to get his own way, if all the other clubs want to stop this then emulate them & do the same, making it all ridicules will be the best way to stop it !
While ever nothing is said or done it will continue !
