Really cant understand how the attendance given out today was less than the KR game.
North stand and East stand looked to have more folk in them and the Western Terrace pretty much the same.

Back in the day you could guess the crowd within a few hundred. Nowadays, it seems to be more a case of think of a number ????

Traffic was far heavier today as well

Calculating the attendance should just be a case of adding the "clicks" at each turnstile.
As far as the cash is concerned, this is the same foe any business that deals in pound notes and i'm sure that the club have some systems in place to safeguard their revenue.

My point was that, nowadays, a guess can be 1500 adrift and this wasnt the case 10-15 years ago.

Totally agree with what you are saying. Based on the HKR match I estimated 9000 yesterday. It's obviously more complicated than my visible calculation and seems to defy logic. Suppose it can be affected by the number of season tickets holders (who, it has been suggested, are included in the figure) attending the game i.e. they may be counted although not in attendance.
I'm only annoyed because my other half guessed nearer to the figure than me!

I would have said fewer fans than the KR game stood down the western terrace as normal and a bit more space than when we played KR.
Good attendance though considering how cold it was and Im sure that put a fair few of both sides fans off

That's probably because Hull K R brought twice as many fans'.

Hull KR 9237
Hudds 8467

770 less folk against Hudds than KR and as mentioned earlier, the North and East Stands certainly had more people in and the Western Terrace looked similar, they couldnt have fitted another 770 people in there ?
