| A sad day IMO - in a feature on young players expected to make their mark this season (one from each club), LE have chosen our most likely player as Brad Singleton!!!
Seeing as he is only here on a short term loan (for now at least and who knows after that), and we have not had 1% of his development, I can't work out whether I am sad at our lack of outstanding players or mad at LE for overlooking our own. Whichever way you look at it, it's got to be wrong.
No disrespect to BS, but he's a Rhino's player - not ours!

| I think that is just a poor effort by LE, they should be clued up enough to know that he is on a 2 month deal.
Btw, who are the other "contenders" ?

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

| I have a good feeling about Lynne I know we have not played any quality sides yet, but I think he will do well..

This is the reason I no longer buy either of Sadlers trash publication.
They have no interest in all but 4 teams - and we are not one.
That said I don't see an obvious breakthrough player - maybe Cowling if we have a crisis in the back line.

You know I'm not sure about him, seems fragile to me but definitely a gifted and big player.
I like Cowling but he's down the pecking order that's for sure.

| As Vastman posted there isn't an obvious breakthrough player and Agar has shown it will take an injury for one of the regulars to miss out. That may dictate who gets an opportunity.

| Reece Lyne looked very good on both of the games we have played pre-season. I think he'll get the gametime and he will develop into a quality player. He played very good against Fev. I hope we can see what he plays like against SL teams. Being a utility back, winger, fullback & centre he can cover players if injured.

Cheers Fordy.
I have to say that i'm not too familiar with most of these players, with the obvious exception of Logan Tomkins & Jimmy Keinhorst (+ SIngleton)
Obviously Tomkins will get plenty of media attention if he plays regular SL and you'd expect him to be a fair player.

Appartently the French kid at Salford looks good. Can't see him staying long if he really is as scrum halves are hard to find.
They didn't do too well with their rising stars last year. Many haven't even played first team yet.
