I couldn't get to the game today , but radio Leeds are baffled by Wakefield s error s and half backs especially Miller , godinet going off after 30 mins also baffling !

Too many errors and defence was poor with insufficient line speed.

You forgot to mention the stupid penalties

The way I see it, Miller doesn't lack effort he just lacks composure and skill.

And Godinet needs to be on the field for 80 mins.

Smith and Gordimer both have moments of panic, smith shifts the ominous inside pass and Miller stands with the ball or reads the wrong lay. Smith did put in a decent kick or two though.

godinet looks fit and lively. If have him at 7 straight away along with sammut at 6. Miller and smith have had a ton of chances.

Didn't lack effort though and some positives atleast today. 30-18 with a few bombed chances is much better. Something to work with and take into next week with Simon returning it will help. Keep at it guys, it's not a quick 1 week fix.

I would have Sammut and Godinet as well. At least try the combination. Nowt to lose.

Very rarely comment on individual players bur Miller's first half display was woeful. Looked like rabbit in headlight even when there was no opposition in sight. Second half much improved showing some pace and support so I don't know what was said at half time. Still didn't make it good but it was better.

As for Tim Smith, I reckon he's very frustrated. No-one is running any decent lines for him to pass to, especially losing Kirmond. There's no attacking pattern for him to use. Now you could say it's his job to organise that but it starts on the training field where everyone should learn the moves. If nobody's in position how can he give a creative pass?

I still like Godinet and think things speed up when he's on the field. Whether to play him at 6 or 9 I don't know.

Millar was his usual self no way good enough as for Smith without a good half back partner is not good enough.Why not have Godinet and Sammut in the halves it was starting to work with them until Smith came back and Sykes returned from injury but to keep on with Millar and Smith just aint working.

Don't think we are going to see Sammut again but definitely agree one of the half backs has to go. Think I would go with Smith and Godinet, Godinet has tp play for 80 mins imo. Only given Smith the benefit of the doubt because we know he can produce something special .

Miller is quite frankly awful. I have no doubt he is trying his best but that just isn't anywhere near good enough i'm afriad. In fact i'd go as far as saying he is one of the most ineffective stand offs we have had in my time watching, which is going some. With Sammut at in the stand it beggers belief that he gets selected week in week out. I feel for Smith as the opposition know that once the ball has cleared the ruck he is the only threat and he can't do it himself. I'd give Sammut and Smith a go together although i wouldn't be upset with moving Godinet into the halves.

It reallu is a waste of talent I we ain't gonna play Sammut again and Godinet needs more time on the field.

I also don't expect to see Sammut play for us again, and the club needs to give Godinet a run in the halves at the expense of either Smith or Miller.
