Like they would say, yes we are skint on a rugby forum. On their landmark site at paragon (which they own) recent drilling works are being carried out on the non developed land which seems to show funds available for ongoing developments.

It was never going to be all their own money, they are working on deals with various investors to get the deal that is right for them.

The deal will see Yorkcourt 'raise' the cash required, but they need tennants to do so. Everyone knows this; everyone is working towards this - so please, let's not get hysterical when rumours are being branded around!

Agreed Klav although i'm frustrated like we all are i won't vilify those who have put so much into this for no reward and like you i know the sacrifices given by many.

So who is financing it? York court owe millions, were upto our eyes in debt again, so where is the money coming from? Not having a go but would love some answers.

Its not a pop at the people of SWAG who have gone beyond the call of duty to tey make it happen, we will always be greatful of their efforts. Its the lack of ANY information coming out of official channels which is the problem. We don't even know any timescales other than 'we are still working on being ready for 2015'. Seeing as thats now about 18 months away that is highly unlikely but there seems to be a game of smoke and mirrors going on. Its all too quiet and thats what starts the rumours going.

When Yorkcourt were looking for investors to come on board at the outset they struggled to get any because no one believed that they would get to this position, apparently now that they've got pp through the same people that said they wouldn't do it are falling over themselves to hijack the project and take over it, hence it is taking time because they are trying to sort out the best deal possible for them.

You really believe that? There's a lot of people put a lot of time and effort into trying to make this work but think its about time the people above them in charge cut to the chase and admit its not happening .
