Someone said previously that Law had been told that he had not been retained, looks like that rumour was wrong. (although he did play against us, prob fuelling the rumour).

Certainly seems that way. I’d suspect that Mash will want him at York next season and to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if a couple of these ended up at York or a few of our younger players like Smith/Booth etc (assuming we get SL status). I’d be all for a dual reg with York to be honest. |

We will have a like for like replacement in Matty Russell coming in who is a very similar player but a little better IMO. |

That does make a lot of sense, especially after playing OP on the wing against Barrow, and then listening to Ollies interview after the game. |

I think all of these make sense, if Boothroyd was Home Grown then I would have kept him but he isn't worth a quota spot . The other one who I wouldn't mind us keeping is Olpherts but he wouldn't be first choice and I imagine at this stage of his career he wants to be playing regular rugby.
