| in all my years of watching Rugby League (Wakefield Trinity) I have just realised how parochial I have been in my outlook on the game. Since the start of the pandemic and the lack of live games until recently, for the first time I have started taking interest in the Australian game. I don't have SKY Sports so my recent televised rugby has been restricted to the meagre supply that we get from the Beeb. I have never taken interest either reading about or viewing the Ozzie game, but now find I am somewhat addicted to the Fox Super Saturday League on Sky Sports Mix channel. The live games have certainly opened my eyes and I have watched successive games today (Melbourne Storm v Wests Tigers and Sydney Roosters v Cronulla Sharks). The speed of the game and the fitness of the players certainly puts into context everything that's been said about Trinity and their performances over the last two seasons.
Obviously I don't have to preach to the converted, but if there are still any old dinosaurs like me out there I suggest you follow suit and watch these games.

| Yes it’s on a different level to our game...just much quicker and much cleaner rucks...also think the camera work is far better which enhances it.
If you look round all teams though it all comes through the spine...they’re big on set completions and leave the rest to the brains of the team...there’s brilliant full backs and halfbacks in the majority of teams!
I know it’s easy to say so as they’re currently top but Penrith are a great team to watch...no weakness anywhere and a superb leader in Nathan Cleary!

I chose to select a team to follow having no experience of who was the best side and chose Parramatta eels, the game the other day v Penrith Panthers was unbelievable while they was beaten the effort they put in was immense just wish Trinity would at least put half that effort in

| I am a Dinosaur I cannot get into the Aussie game I am afraid, that said this season for Trinity and Rugby League in general is a complete mess.
The game is playing out for its funding the product is generally poor but given the issues on testing isolating and lack of training the game is totally unpredictable.
When crowds are back the game is either going to be extremely popular or due to fans not being able to attend many will be lost.
I don't think the leadership of the game has a clue on vision or strategy.

Just wait until State of Origin starts, Reds. It's a fabulous mix of superb RL and athleticism, and also very smart marketing and broadcasting..... it's as polished a product as the biggest soccer games in the world, the pay-per-view fights from Las Vegas, or the F1 from Monaco. I LOVE it, and think we in the UK could learn a hell of a lot from it - on the pitch and off it.

Been following Roosters myself, Snowie. Sadly their crowds seem to look somewhat sp in the giant Sydney Cricket Ground (A bit like Huddersfield ). By the way, I wonder if Roosters are interested in loaning their shirts for next season. I'd certainly buy one.

I did have a problem at first with the eels colours too much like Leeds and was my self think of the roosters but I have a admiration for the centre Michael Jennings, and what about that classy handle bar moustache worn by Campbell-Gillard

| I decided Parramatta were going to be my Aussie team when I went to their ground about 10 years ago and they had a statue of Trinity legend Ray Price outside their ground - I believe he might have played a few games for them too

| Once Topliss left Balmain I lost all interest in Rugby down under. Still the same. Super League, Challenge Cup, Championship then Sharlston. Internations if there's a Wakefield player involved.

| Always watch the NRL been a newcastle knights fan right from the start of there exsistance there team of the mid 90's going into 2000 was brilliant with the johns brothers Robbie o'davis matt gidley Big Paul harrigan, but over the last 5 or 6 years had some tough times but this season got a good squad together good coach and have gone from bottom of league over last few years to getting a top 8 play off spot this season but looking at there position in league at moment they are gunna get a very tough game in play offs as it stands they would play melbourne and they are on fire at the moment, but state of origin is a totally different kettle of fish it is outstanding the pace of the game is unreal the hits are bigger if any of you have never watched it then you don't know what your missing

But will he be a Trinity player if he does? When he seemed to be a cert for England GB a couple of seasons ago, you always had that feeling that someone like Makinson or Charnley would get the vote. Now Handley or Grace (GB) would probably be favoured. I somehow seem to think we may be seeing the last of TJ in a Trinity shirt this season, as I see him as an assett that MC will be willing to liquidate.
