Is this another case of
a) a newspaper breaking an embargo on publishing before a club announcement,
b) the club's PR being too slow
c) The Times getting it wrong.

Come on club - confirm or deny what in print is a factual story rather than simply rumour.

Do you think the club put out the stories about Goulding & Schoey in the hope that the fans would then be happy with Agar???

Nevermind the Times & The Sun, im more disapointed with Atilla. After the franchise info, i thought his word was gospel!!

If its to be him then get it sodding well announced so we can get all spleen venting out of the way and move on to making the best of a bad situation.

Hull FC are the second team in our house - the wife's family are from there and her gramps and great gramps both played for them - but the condescending nature of the posts from some fans is getting tiresome.

A part of me hopes they've gazumped us and Cas for Mr Gentle with a massive offer, and he subsequently turns out to be more Matterson than Maguire.

I hope the club are reading these boards as well as facebook and make a U turn.

Another thing that bugged me last night were some facebook wall posts from some supporters with messages of support for the appointment of Richard Agar, some of these messages were 'liked' by Wakefield Wildcats (this is the official one I'm talking about). Which doesn't fill me with hope, I'm guessing Richard Agar would not have left Hull without a job secured at another club. It sounds inevitable now, I'm just waiting for an announcement from the club then we will all have to get on with it.

However until then I still have hope that we have appointed someone else! I would actually rather have John Kear back than Agar, please James Elston you read these boards, we have been saying for weeks that we don't want Agar, make sure it doesn't happen.
