| this weekend I've seen two games in which players have bent the rules to aid victory, one was sent off in the Uruguay v Ghana world cup match with a deliberate hand ball and in the dying seconds McGuire interfering in the whinos game against stains when they was under pressure in which its a 50/50 chance that they could of scored
I can expect in football but its creeping into our game too it needs stopping now
the RFL should review incidents like this when it could cost the game, I for one am getting frustrated when seeing infringements like this, I should be thank full that it wasn't against us

| It's hardly creeping in, players have been bending rules since the begining of time.
When does conning or old manning the ref, differ from cheating?
Perhaps it's more premeditated these days, who knows, and maybe we perceive it to be premier league cheating as aposed to gold old fashioned old manning.

| Its the so called Flat pass aka Forward pass thats my bug bear.. Players are nearly offside its that forward!!
Interesting contemporary debate though cheating! Drugs v Obvious Intent on the playing field etc etc Is a drug cheat worse than a Thierry type hand ball or can one be pre meditated and the other instinct..
Is a little bit of cheating called sportsmanship ie holding down longer than you should?
Are rules in place to prevent cheating? ie good use of sin bin etc
In football unbelievably you can not tape a ring up and must take it off and if you cant get it off its a yellow card before you enter the field whereas some cheating type offences can go unpunished..
Snowie take up reffing my friend

| That's without taking into account the blatant knock on by McGuire in the build up to Hall's try. The momentum of the ball changed in mid-flight, yet Terry Halibut has ruled it wasn't touched!!!
At least we know now that the obnoxious chanting of "that's why we're champions" that comes from the south stand is referring to the cheating ways of their team rather than any skill.

That's strange how people view it. I thought he completely missed it and therefore it was a legitimate try.

You must be blind then, may i suggest you stop drinking the frothy river water and get yourself a colour tv, i can see that in black and white it may be fuzzy, the ball changes direction in MID AIR. so that makes it a knock on.

| There was one shot that you could see he touched the ball and knocked on but he failed to view it again

I couldn't understand why he didn't go back to that shot, the one from behind the Leeds line, because it was obvious he touched it from that, but instead he went back to the ones where it was more doubtful.
I don't like Danny McGuire because I think he dives. I've seen hit the deck at Belle Vue from nothing, and that incident in the cup that got Farrell sinbinned was typical of him, where he had his eyes closed before he hit the deck.

| I felt the same way about McGuire's interference - it was blatant and deliberate and should have been penalised; every time I want to admire a Leeds performance, they pull a stunt like that and I remember why I can't stand them.

| Regarding the McGuire knock on,which M.Alibert missed or decided to ignore,if you can watch it again look at the action of Keith Senior who interferes with a St.Helens defender so much he cannot get to the loose ball.

I can expect in football but its creeping into our game too
This week I have seen kicks to the head, players falling on their heads, players stamped on and elbowed - Footy is the new Rugby League!
What I deteste in Football is when a player is flagged offside and he clearly isn't in the replay.
TBF Snowie Morrison did it against Leeds and at the time I thought it was the only option.
