If he wanted to come to play 13 i think he could add real depth and another touch pf class to our squad. BUT he would have to have his head screwed on & understand we expect the same change in mentality we expected from other players which were branded as trouble; such as Richie Moore and Danny Brough.

Not interested in the player coming to our club but not having a great deal of interest in any club other than Trinity I was not aware of the financial strategy and in particular the reliance on borrowing allegedly behind KR's accelerated development.

Makes the modest, almost domestic fiscal management at our own beloved club seem reassuringly contained!!!!

i'd take the dirty bleeder if the price was right. thing is out of all the nutjobs out there he is one who you really couldn't be sure would knuckle down. if he did he would give us a very strong pack

I doubt it, they will both be ooc and as such can go wherever it suits. Now if you are talking about the 2010 season then I wouldnt be so silly as to put money on it not happening, hopefully not but you never can tell.

So, what can we extract and read into from that article....?

Cooke and Kear are mates, so seemingly kear would have cooke and cooke would play for kear.

KR want rid of cooke but he's said no to going to crusaders.

Cooke almost ended up at wakefield last season - it would appear its was just about money.

We have the number 21 available for this season.

One would presume we have some money to spend, but i dont think we have the £125k cooke would want

Unless rovers force cooke out i dont think we'll see him at wakey untill the 2011 season, which looks like he will be broughs replacement. Id take cooke now, we could use a class 13 and like him or not, he can win a game....signing cooke as a replacement for brough in 12 months time though...no thanks.

we could always give him the cash from Stos and Kr make up the difference to get him off their wage bill

If Hull KR want rid they could pay part of his wages and we pick up the rest.

Season long loan, HKR pay part of his wages and we can ship him back if he is naughty.

We don't need any other play makers in the team, Brough, Newton, Jefferies and Obst are plentiful. I really do think Ferguson will be a 13 this season so lets add to the squad with either an impact player of the bench or save the money and purchase the cream of young talent from around the district and beyond.

But i do Agree with other posters that JK does not go far wrong so i will have trust in what ever decision he makes
