This is amazing. Crigglestone All Blacks ARLFC express great thanks to Michael Carter and the RFL for granting permission for David Fifita to play his last game in the U.K. tomorrow at Crigglestone with a 1.30 kick off.
We have a gala day starting at 11.30 building up to the game at 1.30.
We thank our guests, Walton and Crofton Sports club for joining us in a day where we hope to raise funds for charity close to our heart. There should be some memories created and sad farewells after the game.
All visitors are welcome.

Makes you wonder who’s missing each other the most, us or Dave.

It’s up to each individual as to how they rate Dave ability wise but I can’t think of many who’ve left a bigger mark on the club, certainly not in the SL era. Solomona was a better player and a fans favourite but still not the peoples player Dave was.

I don’t mind his retirement as I don’t think it will affect us to much, but I will miss the buzz when he entered the fray.

It was an amazing long and wet day! The charities did well.
The game a ended as a fitting draw. Even the ref donated his fee.
Just how do you replace someone like Dave! Awesome.

Legend is a word I rarely use at Wakey because to me you really need to have won something for that IMO but there are exceptions and Dave is certainly one.

Looking at the facebook photos from Criggs Family Funday it really reminds you what a presence he's been.

Did he live in Crigg? I've seen him in the Asda once or twice.
