| Its been a ball on here over the past 10 years or so but our time has come and bad management and false promisies has finally cut us short ... Ted has failed us, his promises, his lies, what he said he do, what he actually did but still got great memories ...
My highlights include
Beating St Helens (undefeated i believe) at oakwell - what a night on sky ...
Beating Salford away to stay up (pitch invasion n all at the end)
The playoffs (finally) beating Hull - the JD try and one of the best atmospheres your likely to be involved in !!
Beating Cas at home to stay up (again !!) but what an emotion of a day ...
The best try ive seen us score in super league ?? the Danny Brough try (interception i think ??) against Leeds at home to finally beat them out pacing Mcguire and Hall and for me having his best game in a Wakefield shirt - then selling to fill a purse ... or too !!!!!
Best players ?? Brough, Solomona and Poching (all had there moments) ...
So whats the future ?? Hopefully a good one ... The 1873 scheme should generate over £120,000 a year for the club and youth system ... I think we have a good and sensible chairman who is a business man ( once the figures come in this year i still dont think hel be disapointed ... The ground should be upto spec within the next 2 years and or wel have a new stadium by 2014 ... I think we can win the rail cup or league within the next 2 years and give them a difficult decision in the next franchise ... Wel hopefully come back stronger and the club will be in a position to challenge the top 6 on a regular basis and compete to where we were in the 60's ...
A new start, a new future -a good championship - we will be stronger ...
For 3 years at least the Super League will RIP !!!

| If if the worse comes to bear on you just keep the faith and never give up on your team,Super league isnt the be all and end all some make it out to be.
I dont go to many SL games nowadays and loved the lower league experience between 1998-2004 when i hardly missed a game.
Keep the faith and rebuild bigger better and stronger.
Waky if going will be back im sure.
Best wishes for tomorrow and more importantly the future.
Regards Peter.

| Wouldn't it be great if it wasn't as clear cut as everybody is making out. Shocks have happened before and still can. Thing is it still is a shock by them keeping the teams in that shouldn't! Good luck and keep ur chin up no matter what happens.

If you are correct and we do get a franchise then I will buy you a pint.

| Good luck for tomorrow, I sincerely hope that it is Crusaders not awarded their place in SL. Although I still remember a minority of your fans waving wooden spoons at us at the Battle of Belle Vue, for me RL is all about rivalry and local bragging rights until the next meeting.
I love the Cas-Wakefield games, and would certainly miss them if either of us were kicked out (although I'm not suggesting that both being given the boot to NL1 would be my preference either!).
Anyway, good luck. Here's hoping to a Cas-Wakefield opening to MM in 2012.

| We all know that the correct decision would be for crusaders or quins to go but since when has "doing the right thing" been on the RFL radar.
good luck for tomorrow and i hope that both our clubs are in still in as i will miss the local rivalry and banter

Worst player - Steve Fatnamara.
My Best Memory - Well two actually, both involved you !! When we stood outside the ground at Brentford when we got hammered to give the players and the management some verbals. Some reporter from some newspaper came out to calm us down but agreed with everything we said. Then went back and I think Liverpool lost the Carling Cup to Chelsea in extra time. Terrible terrible weekend !
And London again, on the coach, Medusa sat a few rows in front of us.. and then taking an Australian guy in as our friend for the evening as he was all alone on the coach, only to find out he had played reserve grade for Brisbane, Penrith and St George and was Nigel Wrights best mate. Then we signed him up to play for the Webcats the week after away at Castleford.
Dicky.. its been a pleasure !! Just a shame I didnt share the final few years with the same enthusiasm anymore.
