I posted this on the VT and the clarity was there until the RFL comes to its senses and starts running the sport like a sport again there will be nothing but tears, arguments, bitter recrimination.. and the old values of tough, hard conpromising but fair play will be lost... probably forever.




My fave moments as a fan... 79 semi v Saints, beating Saints at home to avoid relegation, beating Leeds 47-0 at home... Visiting 'multi coloured swap shop' at belle vue before Trinity played Barrow, playing Australia at Belle Vue.

Worst moment... now!


...so in the annals of time I have been called Tank, Andyt, Spook, Underground and ultimately Spook 2011... so from all of those goodbye to all friends and adversaries... and good luck with your lives... love ypou all goodbyeeeee

the whole system and the game in general stinks football has its faults but the likes of Rochdale and Rotherham are not banded from the Premiership if they ever get there the whole system is turning supporter against supporter

Bring back 2 leagues bring back promotion & relegation bring back the September start and the May finish with the CC Final being the end of season showpiece and then bring back the international tour to NZ and Oz Get the Aussie and NZ touring sides back over here playing 3 tests 8 games V the top 8 and Yorks Lancs and Cumbria.
Bring back the County Cups as a pre season warm up

Feline, I am annoyed about the situation and have made nowhere near the selfless contribution to the club that people like you have, so can't begin to imagine how you feel.

However, if this great club of ours is going to survive the drop down and have a chance to try and get back to the top table, then we need the likes of you, TRB, Sandal Cat, The Clan (and others) to stick with it and continue contributing to the great work you have been doing. The rest of us need to do our bit as well via the Supporters Trust, squadbuilder etc..

I want us to make it hard for the RFL to deny us a return come 2015 - this club has always fought adversity and we need to continue to do so.

One of the things that really sticks in my craw is if we go down and then through lots of hard work by dedicated staff, investment by the owner and unselfish support from volunteers we get promoted as a stronger club the RFL and a number of fans will say that it's all down to being defranchised and regrouping in the Championship.

The truth will be that being knocked down a division will have served only to hold us back for three years or more and undone much of the good work and achievements of our community Dept etc.

We will have to come again from a position much further back than where we are now.

Sycophants will bask in our resurgence as if they've achieved their goal of making us better with their bad medicine.

Will be even harder to take knowing NM will be built before GH.

I went to the Fev n Batley game wi mi dad,(he's a Fev fan) and enjoyed the game.some good rugby is to be seen in the championship.stick wi the shirt, Wakey till I die........

But we don't know for sure that it will yet. Thats the problem.
