Great crowd at shudds game today . Pathetic club with no heart sugar daddy and fancy seats thats all . IF we had what they have we would have the passion and the crowd back at our club . That is a club that doesnt get let down every year like ours we never try and increase our fan base as we sell the top players when we start building a side to be proud of they have no excuse they build a great team every year and the fans aint interested. Our away support is very good when we had a side that was hard to beat and its impossible to increase our attendences due to the state of belle vue. If shudds had a bad ground and no sugar daddy they would be out of super league RFL would not think twice about it. i think they are embarassing that crowd they had today.

The problem is our play-off crowd last year was shocking.

Last year the crowd didn't turn up for the play off game and neither did the players.

The Shudds team didn't turn up until the last 10 minutes.
I'm sure most neutrals were willing the Taffs to hang in. The sin binning of Jordan James put real pressure on his team mates. This, coupled with them having a couple of clowns playing in the backs and Thaler not doing them any favours with the 50:50 decisions gifted Shudds to game.

With our first play-off game for five years, and our best ever Super League finish, I expected some people to turn up. We had less than we got for the regular season Catalan game, if I recall correctly. We get 5000 or so for regular season games against Quins or Dragons. The attendance started with the number 4, I think.

The reasons are irrelevant, but I don't think we are in a position to have a dig at Shudds.

Thats why they had the worst of the double header yesterday, Sky knew their attendance would be embarassing, they knew that the midget fans would not pay the £5 admission so they put them on early while the telly fans were washing their hair ready for a night out and could not see how poor their support is.

No well here is a few. Better stadium, subsidised season tickets from a man with more money than sense leading to better player recruitment and coaching, and their crowds are still embarassing for what the club as a whole have to offer. Fwiw last season Catalans knocked us out a round earlier than when the midgets played them, we were first up on a double header on a Saturday night, they had the stage to themselves the following Friday night and managed to get a magnificent 200 more than us, and yes you are right they are not in a position to have a dig at us
