| Are the rumours true that we're looking at signing Fielden from Wigan? I'd heard we were linked with O'Meley a month or so ago. I'd prefer the latter to help bring on players like Matt James etc.

So would I but I'm pretty sure he'll be playing elsewhere next season.
Of the two I'd prefer O'Mealy.

| Sounds very much like its Amor & Johnson out with possibly O'Meley & Mason replacing them.

| Keith Mason told me himself only yesterday he definately will not be returning to Wakefield.
Then again players are told to keep their mouths shut until contracts are signed!!

| O meley would a great signing for any SL club, still one of the best props in SL.
Issues could be wage demands and injuries, but I would love to see him stay at hull.

| What has happened to the kirke rumour?
O'meley said to be mulling over an offer from hull and wakey. Would like to see him here as an impact prop. Would have kirke for a year too.
Mason I'm not sure could add much to what we have.

| I'd be really sad if we replaced a young englishman with a Fielden or O'meley. Amor is so our type of player..

| I'm a bit torn on that one.
Obviously I'd choose Amor first but I think fitness test and salary would be the thing to split them.
O'Meley is reputed to be on a big wack and I assume Fielden would be too, but Fielden could be more desperate to get his career going again and would fit better.
Having spoken to both Fielden is a mensa candidate compared to O'Meley so bringing on the youngsters will be quite a stretch in my opinion for MOM.
MOM is two years younger which surprises me, so maybe he has more miles to go but equally Fielden hasn't done anything for two seasons
Its a poor choice but if I had to I'd go Fielden on a pay per play deal leaving quota place still open.
To fit our club though, I'd rather have someone with something to prove and on the way up.

| Amor certainly is our type of player, but I think that ship has sailed; given that Hull seem determined to have him, I hope we're playing hardball in terms of his present and future value.
With regard to O'Meley, I'd have him at our club in a heartbeat - one of the few old-fashioned, hard-as-nails enforcers left in SL and when he's fit and firing and used properly, a devastating runner.
I wouldn't be upset by Fielden for a year - he's got a lot to prove and judging by his brief performance on Friday night, looks up for it; if we could get him on loan, that would be even better.
Likewise Kirke - a solid enough player who until O'Donnel broke him at the weekend, has had a distinct upturn in form in the latter part of the season.
None of the above are poor choices in my view and as much as Kyle's departure would be disappointing, it equally wouldn't be the end of the world.
