| We can beat Leeds, however, after we beat them the 1st time they took stock, they beat us by changing tactics, when we played the ball they initially knew we would pass quickly right or left & a ball player or kicker was 2nd or 3rd receiver, So, their tactic either side of play the ball rushed up. as early as possible to close us down & Frustrate us, this caused us to be hemmed in & we began to panic & put the ball down or moves broke down due to clamping us in . It is no secret that Leeds are to use this game as an early curser of play off intensity, If we start off slow which is our usual norm + we don't change tactics on field to suit the game we will not win, Leeds will not fall into a/the trap of casual play, We can beat them but it will be close & therefore be prepared for a very, very tough night/game.

| By the way, Kendal is the Ref, therefore, expect two penalties for Leeds in front of our posts, this is the norm for him, do not expect him to protect our players, odd penalty comes our way if it's bad , we don't usually win with this guy ? He tends to always go upstairs for all our scores !

Isn't it what coaches do by changing things around when the tactics aren't going to plan or have I got it wrong.

"when we played the ball they initially knew we would pass quickly right or left & a ball player or kicker was 2nd or 3rd receiver" Wouldn't every team do this?

| Looks like it's going to be a sell out. I hope we do ourselves justice, being on Sky and Infront of a big crowd.
I've watched Wakefield for 60 years and we've disappointed Infront of the cameras and a big crowd more times than I care to remember.
I'm nervous and excited in equal amount about tomorrow night I've fingers crossed we can do it.

| If we can sell out the new capacity of 9.3k that is a huge effort.
With a couple of sellouts earlier in season too we should see average attendance up next season so long as we maintain the quality on the pitch. If we build consistency over this year and next and reach playoffs I see no reason we can’t sell out almost every week and justify expanding capacity even more.
I can’t wait for tomorrow. I know the players will be busting a gut to get the win.

I take your point and to paraphrase Russel Crowe, it's all about strategy on the fly... Hull saw this and used a quick outside rush ... Helped massively by laying on the play the ball at length... Other teams have also tried... With varying degrees of success. I think having two genuine playmakers/ kickers on the pitch helps us vary the play. Fascinating game ahead! PS did you mean precursor rather than curser (which refers to someone who swears a lot)?

Yes, my thoughts exactly, as an old timer like you, in tbe past its been a big build up-then flop!I really believe this is a different Trinity we're talking about today though. There's a confidence and belief in ability I haven't seen since the 60's. We also have true quality in every position.. no doubt about it, we have the players to do it!

Used to be the case, but I have confidence that things have changed with the club now - I have more confidence now than I ever have, although there is still that couple of % in the back of my head that it could always happen, it`s difficult to shift, that may always be there. Plus we are in front of Sky cameras every game now!
