And if Rourke in centre we don't have a stand off.
Ultimately Rourke is still learning. When Trueman is back it's between Rourke and Max for the 1. You don't just shoehorn one in to another position. Our centres have been great this year, including Scott.
Did not mean at present while Trueman is injured ,with Max at 6 Rourke as got to play at full back I just think he would be better cover for centre ,if Pratt of Hall get injured .One thing he as going for him is the way he can leap for the ball .It is a right asset to have with the attacking kicks that we have in the game and in defence. Great to have a chat about who should play in the centre ,long way of the days when if centres were injured the next choice was two forwards I do agree we could do with him on the field. His running high ball game are excellent. But for now our centres are doing a great job. Competition for places is always good.

| No TJ but I did notice he was talking to a trainer and pointing to his upper leg, so I assume he is rested as a precautionary measure. I am a little surprised at his replacement thought Russell would be his replacement.

| Dented my confidence a little for this one as TJ is a big miss with Pratt already missing especially.
Let’s hope Myers can have a good game and put his foot forward.
Good luck to the lad and the team.
You know which sides getting all the kicks and traffic.

| More importantly how can Griffin hit Sezer high on the 4th tackle in the middle of the field when we’re under the pump? That Martin try’s on him, not the ref

| Discipline cost us in the second half. We were giving penalties away for fun.

| Really poor that second half. Simply not good enough.

| Poor both halves. Barely moved the ball and our edge defence was paper thin. We often get away with one halfback having a stinker, but both of them were off it tonight.
Middles were pretty commendable once again. But what a wasted opportunity to beat a poor Hull side.

| The more I look at their winning try the more it looks like a double movement and I thought it was at the time. That said, there were 3 or 4 defenders on him. They should have put him into the first row of the stand.

| We need to make a call on the halves.
Lino is so inconsistent it’s unreal.
Trueman is class but permanently injured.
The way I see it we have 3 specialist 7’s at the club in Russell, Lino and Lawford.
We have Trueman who is a 6 that can play 7 and we have Max who is a 1 that can fill in at 6.
The gap in the squad is a specialist 6.
Contracts etc will dictate what happens however in a perfect world if we could unload Russell (a signing I never understood) and recruit a 6 we are so much more balanced.
Ideal world for next year Trueman 7 with Lino backup and a genuine 6 in the squad.
With a genuine 6 today we are out of site at half time and more than likely turn a few of those narrow losses we have had this year into wins.
