And if Rourke in centre we don't have a stand off.
Ultimately Rourke is still learning. When Trueman is back it's between Rourke and Max for the 1. You don't just shoehorn one in to another position. Our centres have been great this year, including Scott.
Scott has been great in one game last week at centre. He was underwhelming for the other games earlier in season and lost out to Hall and Pratt as a result. He played well in second row when asked which I think watching him 2024 at Hull is his strongest position right SR. That said last week was promising at centre and it’s his turn to try keep Pratt out now. It’s a good place to be in. Agree once Trueman is fit or even Russell gets match fitness they will start at 6 over Max. Max will move back to 1 and Rourke will have to try compete with Max like you say. A tall order with Max been integral to the spine. I can see why Powell and the coaches are training Rourke up at wing and centre. It only increases his opportunities of making the 17. I thought he went well in pre season on the wing when he scored a nice try too. Opportunities will come no doubt for Rourke. We are blessed to have two very good fullbacks. Scott was injured. You can hardly blame him for that.

Did not mean at present while Trueman is injured ,with Max at 6 Rourke as got to play at full back I just think he would be better cover for centre ,if Pratt of Hall get injured .One thing he as going for him is the way he can leap for the ball .It is a right asset to have with the attacking kicks that we have in the game and in defence. Great to have a chat about who should play in the centre ,long way of the days when if centres were injured the next choice was two forwards

| BarnsleyGull:Just looking at the odds, not much between us.... On BetFair, we have a massive 2pt start! We are 13/10 to win and FC are 4/6.... Going to see if I can take some money off the bookies for 3 matches running! We had 6.5 start when the early prices came out on monday.... that's been shortened so there's people that fancy us

His running high ball game are excellent. But for now our centres are doing a great job. Competition for places is always good.

| No TJ but I did notice he was talking to a trainer and pointing to his upper leg, so I assume he is rested as a precautionary measure. I am a little surprised at his replacement thought Russell would be his replacement.

| Dented my confidence a little for this one as TJ is a big miss with Pratt already missing especially.
Let’s hope Myers can have a good game and put his foot forward.
Good luck to the lad and the team.
You know which sides getting all the kicks and traffic.

| More importantly how can Griffin hit Sezer high on the 4th tackle in the middle of the field when we’re under the pump? That Martin try’s on him, not the ref

| Discipline cost us in the second half. We were giving penalties away for fun.
