He's not only a lovely guy but an intelligent guy and a good mentor himself.


You can see how he plays that he's smart but the things that made me notice he had more were two things


1) when I was at the club meeting players he wasn't always getting in the team. He walked passed while Powell was talking to us. 
He called him over and had a joke with him and when he left he explained how hard he was working and that he thought a lot of him. When he was walking off with the other players they were all laughing with him and clearly liked him.


2) I was in a box for one of the games when he wasn't playing. The players sometimes visit to have a chat.
I was at the bar and coming back I saw Trueman and Lachy outside our door chatting.
Trueman isn't that comfortable speaking to fans and groups. I've seen that before.
Lachy was talking to him to prepare him and give him some pointers about what to say. Then they went in. Trueman was still nervous but Lachy brought him in to chats and watched out for him.


That's the kind of person we need at our club.

I'm really pleased he's staying I reckon we have two of the best finishers in SL!

Good news on top of good news more or less every day. What a time to be a Trinity supporter. Best period since the Sixties for me.
