It’s because we’ve haven’t got anyone else to play 6. Max can play 6 and Rourke is a fullback. Don’t want to see Pitts in the halves ever again. 

Who else are you suggesting Trojan? Seems to be the best option to me.

Lino was absolutely outstanding today, a proper composed 7 display. Kicking game on point, his instructions in defence was equally impressive. He just had everyone where they needed to be, the short pass for Griffins first try was box office. Jowitt slotted in well at 6, didn’t really look out of place.


I think Cozza is such a good classy player, surely the heir to Pitts at 13, though Jay looks like he could go another year. It’s great seeing Smith get better and better to coming off the bench, he’s got so much potential, his defence has really improved also. 

Not sure about Rourke being fullback , a few mishaps catching the ball

Causes problems in attack from high balls, drops the odd one in defence.
Who doesn't, Max, Jai Field etc all do from time to time.
Personally think he's a very promising young, perhaps inexperienced full back.
Max moved in really well today at hb, may even be his future, who knows.
Really pleased how we reacted today to a poor 5/10 mins.

Rourke getting stick ,could not make it up,like the Guy my self ,and still make us strong at fullback At least Rourke turns up when needed ,more than can be said for Trueman he is stopping us from been a top 4 team big time .Do not care if Wires were below strength or not ,we put 40 points on them, and we showed glimpses of how good we could be if we had a proper 6 playing most weeks And just for the record beginning to think we are very lucky to have a fit Lino ,who to me looks like apart from one or two 7,one of the best in S L at present Got my helmet on 

I have to say Jack Croft is turning out to be a very handy player to have, seems to have improved a lot since moving to second row.

Superb effort today from 1-17. Suspect we were all a bit apprehensive when we saw that Trueman was missing again, but we bossed that game for 70 minutes and Wire never looked like scoring in that second half.
Rumour is that Trueman could be back next week but personally I would keep the same spine as we had today and rest him for the tougher test the week after at Headingley
