that said (and I don't necessarily agree with you about the Trinity spine) I thought Lam had a really low key game... His timing and tackle intensity were well off and his kicking was very disappointing... Whoever chose him for mvp must have been either blind or stupid!

Cas are suggestion Hoy, Cini and Westerman are struggling.
That's 3 of their highest paid players but to be honest none are playing that great.
Slightly worries me that they'll put a young kid in that wants to make a name and will have a blinder.


We have to take it seriously. It's more important than just the 2 points.

We could have targeted Cini, especially with our backline, so I'm slightly disappointed he's out. Hoy does have it in him to score or break out of nowhere though, so it'd be a huge bonus if he's out.

Singleton also struggling with a foot injury for Cas, which kept him out on Saturday, but I don't know if I'd rather have him playing as he is always good for a few knock-ons and penalties ?? 

Lawler has got 3 penalty points but no ban, so will be eligible for Thursday 

I don’t think it matters too much. I’m expecting our pack to be strong and really come out with some aggression vs Cas. I can’t imagine they will be happy with that first half vs saints and will want to put it right in the 1st half vs Cas. 

I can’t imagine any of our players will want this home run of defeats to continue either so there should be no shortage of motivation for this one. 

I agree, even with our makeshift spine and they with their strongest team out (which they won't have), we should still roll them. 


With the exception of Saints, I've felt 50/50 going into every league game this year; we'll win if we play well, we'll lose if we don't. 


But we're going on a run of five games now where I'd be really disappointed if we don't win 3 or 4, and it starts this weekend. Spells like this will be the difference between us finishing 6th or 9th.

Well Cas could have Amone and Dezaria in their squad which would boost them.
