It was noticeable how much the ruck was slowed in the second half compared to the first and I think it was a tactical change from Hull. It worked, they took their chances. The 50-50 plays come off in another game, but overall I was pleased with our game.
Rourke looked great in attack and comfortable under the high ball, but I think we missed Jowitt's passing skills to create the space. I was surprised how easily he got skinned by Chamberlain, which again I think Jowitt would've covered that.
Add Vagana, Jowitt and Stornton into that team I think the result would be different.

Gutted, thought we had them, just not our night, silly errors crept in as we got more desperate towards the end. With more composure it could've been a different story.
Yeah, we should have put them to bed in that first half. I thought the last one we scored before halftime should have been a try; it looked fine to me, in my opinion. Sezer pinned us down with some good kicks for a period in the second half after they scored those two tries, leaving us to start our sets inside our five-metre line, which seemed to drain what energy we had left. We gave ourselves a chance to come back in that last 10, but then Lino kicked out on the full, and then Big Mike's high tackle effectively halted any further points after Scott crossed over. Defo is one that got away that and was unlucky in many ways but Hull really toughed it out in that 2nd half and finished the game off well. When Lino kicked out on the full .It was down to bad play by Hood, he through the ball out 3 times from play the ball down the narrow side not giving lino much space to aim for .Would go as far to say Hoods second stint on the field was not is best |

I'm not sure it was bad play. They all knew what was happening so imagine it's something they've trained for.
If Lino had got the kick on target it was an effective move.

And back again, I give up
I'm having the same thing happen. I've come to the last page and read what I thought were not that many posts after my last ones yesterday. Then I went back to the main Wakefield page and came back and several new posts appeared, then I did it again and a few more appeared. It's starting to make me feel like I'm going around the bend. |

PopTart not having a go at Hood ,in fact have come on here and said he as surprised me with how well he as played this season, but just though it was a wast of three tackles ,when we should have been moving the ball out wide to run at the defence .Just to rub salt in to the wounds the final pass in Hull second try looks on the highlights |
