What do you mean? I said he played very well in the last two games. I’m not criticising him and haven’t at all. I did clearly say that for me I want to see a string of consistently good performances to justify any extension beyond this season. That’s what he needs to do for me. Great start, let’s see it carry on.

| Some murmurs that Lewis Dodd could become available to Superleague soon as his expected starting shirt has gone to another young half.
Probably would be a signing worth looking at for 2026 and onwards but we do have Trueman, Lino, Russell and Lawford. so it’s unlikely.
I would like to see us extend Roarke next season as he’s a player that could cover the full back line. So hard to find a place for him but I also feel he’s too good to not be playing.

| Not a rumour, and I decided not to start a new thread for it but news - Neil Tchamambe has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027 season.
So along with Jayden Myers, that's 2 young wingers we've got signed up for the next few years. You get a feeling and it's just that, it may be Walmsley's last year, especially as we need quota space next season for Smoothy. As much as I like Walmsley and he always gives 100%, he does seem to be the obvious guy to make way. Saying that he'll have no problems getting another contract if we do decide to not renew, either at another SL club or more likely one of the top Champ clubs.

| Rumours that Tom Amone isn’t happy back in NRL and wants a return to SL.

Jayden Myers is a Centre, played 45 games with only 16 of those being as a winger and they were fairly early on in his 1st grade appearances. Your point is still a good one though, we have Myers at 21 Pratt at 20 Tchamambe at 19 Hall at 22 Scott is 25

| Dodd & Amone aren’t going anywhere, there aren’t any ‘rumours’ of them wanting to leave - it’s purely because they aren’t making their respective 17s at the minute.
Myers will be a winger for us, can cover centre but Powell, Mills et al see him as a top prospect winger going into the future.

| Interesting because Jayden sees himself as a Centre and that’s where he wants to play. Hes happy to play anywhere but in the long term he wants to establish himself at Centre

Another good run out for Atoni today. A few more like than and I’ll be happy to see him remain.
I'm sure he'll try and persevere until you catch up with the rest of the fanbase.

I’m sure there’s an option for club to extend for 2026. The back line honestly doesn’t need much investment for next season. Seems we will be in the market for a few forwards more than anything.

I’m not easy to please icon_smile.gifold (I can’t see any emojis still) There’s others who share the same opinion as me, I don’t need validation though so I’m just happy to keep forming my opinion dependant on how he goes this early part of the season. I really hope he continues with this form as it will make recruitment options easier for next season the more of our current players step up.
