Recently this site has got far worse. There are adverts all over it that i'm having to battle with to view the posts, they come at you from the bottom and right hand side of the screen and the banners at the top seem to be getting bigger too. I've noticed it on the work computer (unable to install an ad-blocker) and my phone. I know it says 'go ad free' at the top but I don't think there are enough updates to warrant paying for the content on here, possibly because many are put off from using it due the battle with the adverts in the first place. Are there any other RL forums that people use? I'm on the FB groups and want to keep in the loop but i'm losing the will with this site.

I'm sure it's no consolation but we have the same problem on Cas Forum . We started getting an influx of adverts around the end of Oct 2024 . It can be really frustrating at times , but without them I guess there's a chace the forums couldn't continue .

When I’m trying to post and get whisked off to an advert thread for no reason it’s very frustrating.

It annoys the hell out of me too.
