the hot weather sounds good until you have 2 weeks solid when you struggle to leave the house because the sun is so intense... the garden is too hot to spend more than 20 mins gardening, the aircon struggles... and its even too hot to walk the dog (pavements are incredibly hot to touch)... at least in the cold you can rug up and get out!
at least this morning it feels a bit fresher (it hasn't reached 20 yet, but its only 8am)... soon be autumn here which is perfect
