HOW BIG IS ELLIS LINGARD????
Has the kid stopped growing yet? He already seems bigger than when he made is debut (at 17 I believe) he's a monster!!'"
Totally agree, I was stunned. He’s not just tall, he’s big!!! I also believe he likes getting stuck in.
You stop growing at around 19 so a bit to go yet.

| Quote vastman="vastman"It's not a Roosters design, does my head in!!!
The design that people claim is the Roosters shirt was a straight rip off from the French national shirt from the 1950s. It no more a Roosters design than a Trinity one. Except at least we were using the V in the 1930s, whilst the old Eastern Suburbs shirt was hoops.'"
Easts had the V in the 40s.
I can't imagine they even knew what each other's shirt was in those days.
Personally I've always loved the French and Easts shirt and glad we've gone in that direction.

First thing I noticed too. He has a big frame similar to someone like Liam Byrne. Just a big human. If he applies himself and the club invest in him then we may see him get a few games sooner rather than later.

9am. I know shirts are completely down to taste, but for mine the trend of Super League away shirts at the moment is horrific - check out Cas, Giants, both Hull teams, and Wigan. What's the thought process there do you think?: https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/20 ... eague-kits Never understood why teams don't just riff on their club colours, or create a recognisable away pallet to riff on each year.

Well I agree but the answer is that they are there to make money so making them different forces a new purchase for those not wanting to be seen in last years shirt.
Away shirt or '3rd shirt' is often just a fashion item.
I think we've done it exactly right this year.

Income, for sure. But I'd love to see the numbers and see how that stacks up against the lack of brand-building, especially now every game's on TV. NRL clubs do it brilliantly - whether home or away, when you switch on you can always tell it's Brisbane, Melbourne, Parramatta, Cowboys etc: https://leagueunlimited.com/news/41603- ... l-jerseys/
