| Quote Spookisback="Spookisback"isn't it funny how a bit of success breeds contempt?
in the past 12 months we got a new owner... a new coaching set up... massive investment in club... team and stadium... we got to go to Wembley... we won two available trophies and are in the final with a home advantage for a third. We even have a player who is just 3 points away from a new world record for individual points scored in a season.
seems we are so ingrained with being disappointed and grumpy.. we forgot how to have fun...
live in the moment guys ...
enjoy the experience ...
I think we got the RL equivalent of a winning lottery ticket when the Ellis family took over... and after 50 plus years with so few highlights, I'll take it whilst it's here!...
all I see is silver lining... and any small clouds are inconsequential.'"
Absolutely spook, some of the rubbish on Facebook, makes you wonder what they really want, yesterday we played a very committed side, who played very close to the limit, (pity Mash couldn't do the same last year),and still won by 2 clear scores.
We are in the Final just enjoy it.

| Interesting that Lineham took to the field wearing 34 but later changed his shirt to 27. Made no difference to how he played but what was that all about?

| His GPS tracker pocket ripped and the GPS wouldn't stay in, so they had to swap shirts

| An ordinary performance, hope we play better next week. But in reality it's all about the win nothing else.

| York played a good well organised game and at their peak, Wakey were not at their best and squandered good field position on several occasions and still won by a 2 score margin, will need to cut the errors out on Saturday, which I’m sure they will and hopefully turn the French over big style

| Credit to York because they made it hard for us but we bombed 3 trys in the 1st half which would have give us a comfortable lead. That said we will need to be better next week but if we take our chances I am confidant that we can win.

| As some others have already said, you need some "jeopardy" in matches to get really involved.
Winning comfortably is great, but you do need some close games - otherwise you just get a bit blasé. Without any disrespect to other Championship sides, most of the games have ultimately been a bit too easy this season - and lacked a bit of "gut wrenching passion". Probably only Fev away in the Challenge Cup and away to Widnes, was the result in doubt.
(we got stuffed away to Toulouse, so that doesn't count either!)
I loved yesterday. I had that sickening feeling after 60 minutes of "we can easily lose this", and whilst it's a horrible temporary feeling - it's something special when it turns out all right in the end.

| No I will be happy with a 40 point victory, it would not cause me any consternation or feel I needed more.

Completely agree. Started watching in 1992, so always the underdogs. Victories, especially close ones, make it all worth while. Loved it yesterday. It was equally awful and ace. That's what it's all about
