| Jordy is playing a disruptive game for Wire and it works.Has cut out most of the penalties and errors he had in his game and is reaping the rewards.

| I think it’s testament to Crowther that he’s a regular in a very good talented Wire squad. I’ve always said Crowther will never be a barnstorming forward who will represent his country or that NRL opportunities will come his way. What he is is a workman like 13, that I’m sure everyone of his teammates will have down as one of the first names of the team sheet. I think a player of his ability flourish in a more quality squad as he will nail down the 1%’s and add energy to the team.
For me Burgess is a generational player and has worked with some amazing coaches and played with amazing players, there’s a reason why they wanted to keep Crowther, he clearly see’s quality in him. How can you be anything but happy for him. Crowther reminds me of a Jason Clarke type of player which I’m sure Burgess will love.

Because the club allowed it and he was dropped. Whichever way you try and dance around it if the club wanted him he’d have seen out his contract for the year.

Are you saying the club didn’t release him on loan and Cas just signed him whilst he was in contract then?
I’ve had a look back and turn out as I thought he did go on loan mid season and as I thought after some poor performances.
He even said so himself.
How about I just post the article for you:

Regardless I wish him well but at the time he wasn’t a loss to Trinity and nothing to dwell over. That was my point.

Fair enough, he went on loan.

I don’t think it matters either way.
I’m sure everyone at trinity wants to see him do well. I do too.
I’m happy he’s playing well for Wire a team in form. It looks good for the Trinity production line of nothing else.

| Crowther is typical of apprentice players. He needed to move onto a club where he was no longer one of the kids. Some players can make that transition at there parent club, others can’t.

| Jordan was injured so that was the reason he didn’t play, not because of his so called drop in from, Wakefield offered him a contract but after 12 years he wanted a change, Andy Last wanted him and offered a far better contract, which he agreed to, obviously Lasty was sacked and Mash asked if he wanted to go on loan as there could be a clash with the 2 clubs fighting relegation, that’s when a coach called Darryl Powell wanted him at Warrington, Darryl sadly was sacked but Warrington were impressed with Jordy that they offered him an even better contract than Cas and the rest is history, I’ve no doubt Darryl wanted him back at wakey but he had already signed 2 years at Warrington, a change is as good as a rest as they say and jordy is thriving on it. After 12 years of highs and lows at wakey and add a poor coach in there I think he’s done okay.
