Don’t agree with Fb’s hit their prime late 20’s early 30, you’ve either got it or you haven’t…. the NRL provides perfect examples of that. England’s Fb for the last decade consistently has been Tomkins and was way better earlier than latter in his career. I hope Max gets a call up, I really do but Wane will have his opinion on him and unfortunately that’s what matters.

Exactly my point. However you say it, Wakefield are an unfashionable club.
It's not that they are picking on us, but Max is currently playing part time players so isn't going to be viewed the same as a Super League player.
Same as when we were in SL. It's harder to show your worth if you are always in a dog fight and never playing in the big cup or end of season games.

Hopefully we'll get him that chance, but I very much doubt we'll have changed hearts and minds by next mid season international.

I've being saying to my family for a while that Max is a superb player. If you swap Max and Welsby everyone would be going on about how good he is. Both have flaws in there game. Max has a passing game that eclipses Welsby, but Welsby is more destructive ball in hand. Neither can defend for toffee.
