TBF he knew from day one that there was no cash, it wasn't hidden from him. He took a gamble and I admire that.
Also, it's worth noting that despite the criticism he got, he very nearly pulled it off, there was a brief moment when it looked possible - not many relegated coaches can say that.
I reckon there is a very good coach in that lad, certainly a SL assistant in a few years time.
