Good day out to Whitehaven today. It's been a long time since I was last up there.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Team played OK with lots of 50/50 decisions and penalties going the way of the home side but some dumb mistakes really disrupted our flow. But the bottom line is we beat another team by over 20 points away from home so nothing to moan about really. The Championship tour moves on.
Finally well played Whitehaven who gave us a game
I listened to Radio Cumbria’s coverage and I must admit it was quite exemplary. They showed little or no bias, praising Wakefield and their supporters.
