I take your point, not a good analogy. We love the Challenge Cup and often go to the early rounds at amateur/community clubs but we’re not going to Siddal. At 5’11” I’ll struggle to see a lot of the action. At 5’6” Mrs KH will see zilch so,much as we’d love to be there, we’ve made the decision that it’s not worth the 200 mile round trip. Harsh as it sounds, disabled fans and people who’d struggle to stand for 2 hours have to make the same judgement call - does it make sense to attend? You’ve made the point that there are laws regarding disabled access but adjustments have to be reasonable and it’s arguable that it’s not reasonable for a small community club like Siddal to make suitable adjustments (though they may have done - I don't know).
It’s a poop situation. A lot of fans who would have gone will be unable to go for a variety of reasons but it’s the rules of the competition and Siddal have the right to play at home. It’s part of what makes the Challenge Cup special - the Magic of the Cup.
