you are tying the flag issue in with 2 people out of 1500 not behaving which knowing you is about right, you have your own agenda to everyone else and along with another poster have ruined this forum. Not meaning to offend but there's now not many got a good word to say about you. It's called dictating not moderating.

The flag as got to be band ,

Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 states words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or. (b) displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening [or abusive], within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby."

Displaying that flag clearly breaches this, so when the police view the footage of the idiots fighting in order to prove the assaults, then they may also want to speak to the guys displaying the flag

Think the whole thing needs putting to bed now as it is being blown out of proportions and over shadowing what was a really significant day in the history of our club under our new administration.

Disappointing regarding the idiots fighting but both clubs and police dealing with it.

In regards the flag, ill advised and hopefully a lesson learned but talk of police involvement is a bit OTT.

I thought the group really added to the atmosphere and long may they continue to support the team so enthusiastically maybe with no flag or a censored version of which I personally feel would be fairly amusing given the uproar.

I don’t agree with the flag in its current state but I think a lot of fans are jumping on the wrong bandwagon and we should be jumping on the positive performance bandwagon rather than talking up an unfortunate isolated incident by 2 people who won’t be watching us again for a while and a bit of youthful over exuberance.

In terms of the game, there were two things I took from it.

1) the forwards are a really good unit, driven by Hood and Doyle and to be honest I think they'll get better.
2) the speed and accuracy of the ball movement is excellent. There were flashes when Gale and Max first played together last year but after years of players having to catch the ball on their toes or above their head, it really shows how well drilled and skillful they are.

Now, I'm not so naive that I dont see the difference in opposition. Its much harder to put a perfect pass in when you have the St Helens running a blitz defense but I like how it's going.
