The use of the word "committed" is always troubling from a politician. It usually means, "we'd really like to, in an ideal world, but sorry guys"

Just a thought: I wonder if that's why Brodie Croft signed a ten-year deal. Is there a nod and wink that if he wants to go they'll let him, or if the club needs the money he'll agree to go, but whichever way, Salford get a decent transfer fee?

It's like the Super League Grand Final. It's hard to win, but it's only ever one of three clubs that do, with a couple of try-hards almost getting there. |
