He's a major signing for them but only short term if he came here at 33.

I'm still bitter that we lost Dagger to York, they could be one to watch next year.

They have some good young players with another year under their belt like Towse who I hoped we would go for) and the young half.

With Dagger that’s a pretty handy half pairing and options at full back I would say. Probably as good if not better than what we have presently at half back.

Dagger and Myler are a better half back pairing than Lino & Gale IMO

Of course a lot will depend on who they’ve got to play with and in that regard our half’s are better served by the runners they’ll have around them.

Going to be a cracking league which is great to see. Myler is a top signing for the Championship, Dagger and him will be excellent. We are building nicely and I think it must be obvious to our very experienced coaching staff that we need a quality 6.
