That said it may take a bit of negotiating to get a few over the line but I hope they’ll see the benefit of signing for a club who are effectively a SL club in waiting and are investing strongly to challenge for everything in the championship.
I agree and I’d add Tanginoa to that list.
Tanginoa, Kennedy, Nakubawaii, Blake and Rimbu would be an absolute dream. I’d go far as to say it would make us pretty destructive.
My personal wish list to finish off the team would be (for a team of 27 + loan/DR). Obviously this is purely what I would like but if one can’t dream in pre season anticipating signings when can you I guess.
Tanginoa - second row
Luis Roberts - second row
Nakubawaii - prop
Kennedy - prop
Rimbu - hooker/halfback
Blake - centre/wing
Walmsley - wing
Dean - halfback
Pratt - centre
H. Smith - hooker
Kershaw - wing
Dual ref with Hudds - utilise Salabio/Hewitt when required. Or Wigan - they have some cracking fringe young players and reserve options if required.
Other players of interest could be Ava Seumafungai and Joey Lovadua.

Agreed.
Aspirational posts are great but sometimes we need to remind ourselves they are just that.
It’s uncanny how aspirational posts on this forum become solid links in the pubs and clubs and when they don’t materialise there is a sense of disappointment. |

I think that a challenging championship team is all we are building at the moment hence the length of contract being offered to most, for this season only. |

I can't remember ever shutting a rumour of new signings down. I still roll my eyes if someone suggests something ridiculous but that doesn't mean it's wrong.
Rumour of issues at the club or issues around an existing player. Very different thing.
And worth making clear. I don't 'shut down' a rumour. I only add my opinion. You are welcome to yours.
But as a mod, if something is posted about real people whether club official, player or supporter that is maliciously intended, I'll have to make a judgement call and if no proof, I'll probably shut it down. |
