Yes, I've spoken with him several times, and the impression I get is that he would be incredibly embarrassed at even the suggestion of having a statue of himself made.

I'm a massive fan of Neil Fox and am lucky enough to say I talk to him often.
Although he's always really proud of his achievements I have to agree with Egg and say a single statue might be too much.
If we did it, I think a statue of multiple players lifting Turner up with the cup would be better ........ but right now, there are loads of things to do before a statue.
