Quote: The Phantom Horseman "It certainly doesn't work in Featherstone's favour, Fev will get the minimum 0.5 points whereas the likes of Keighley, Bradford, Newcastle, London Broncos etc will get the full 1.5 points.
That whole section of the scoring system is a farce tbh, teams should be rewarded for extending their reach/attendances/sphere of influence by their own efforts, not for theoretical/"potential" progress. London Broncos have been around for nearly 50 years, and in their current guise for around 30 years, but are currently playing in front of around 400 fans, the "potential" there is imaginary.'"
Good point. I'd not thought about how big Bradford is to be able to host two teams
And yes I said it the wrong way round. Wakefield are penalised rather than Fev benefit.
Your point about London shows the issue though. A new franchise will get location points but they won't get the grade A without the core criteria and will lose on attendance, fan base for digital and league performance
