George Griffin would be fine for the Championship but don't think he's any better/worse than Bowden or even Rob Butler for that matter. Providing the money for him is right then I have no problem for a year.

All these possible signings have one common thread, the players are coming to the end or have actually reached the end of their careers.

Fev ran with a squad this year averaging 31 years of age. 8 of these were 33 or older when the season started yet they've absolutely dominated the league.

It depends on the squad size because injuries will occur and age increases the risk.

It's a rumours thread. You are getting stressed about signings the club may not even have looked at yet.

I know, I was merely pointing out the similarities of all the rumours of players coming in. It’s not if I believe it but it is an interesting scenario and actually follows how the majority of championship clubs start their squads.
