Correct promoting football and its attendance is just putting a 6 inch nail further into our coffin

Hoping to get to a few matches now they’re playing in Wakefield.

Yes we are now a championship club, less limelight and publicity. We need to make the sporting public want to come and watch our games. Therefore lets promote a football club, get the young kids involved and one day they will have more incentive to follow or even play for them as opposed to follow rugby league. Yes what a great idea.

And gain from their income and bigger crowds.

We have Leeds Utd and other football clubs on our doorstep, kids will play football regardless of Wakefield AFC. To me we're not in competention with football as its a battle that's already been lost.

Like al "professional" sport, it's all about the money.
If Wakefield F.C are funded in line with or, at a higher level than other clubs in that league and with decent management, they will prosper, as would Trinity.
It's not a given and things can go wrong but, having a "winter" sport to make use of the facilities at BV has to be a good thing.
